Stephen King's Dark Tower series is maddening. It's epic. It's haunting. And it's progressing very, very slowly. At the current rate, it's my guess that SK will have to live to 142 if he intends on finishing the story. Nevertheless, I eagerly await the coming of each book just as I have for the past fifteen-odd years. Book five is some ways out -- years! -- but King has posted the prologue to his site. Good stuff.
