Press Your Luck player gamed the system

Michael Larsen, an unemployed ice-cream salesman, obsessively taped and watched the game-show Press Your Luck in the 80s until he'd figured out how the game-board's patterns worked. Once he had the system nailed, he appeared on the show and swept the board, netting over $100,000 (which he promptly lost on bad real-estate investments). The account and video of his win is pretty amazing.
