The site has been counting down to August 24th and now it looks like it is heading into meatspace. Now there are all these GPS coordinates where people are planning to go to all over the U.S. on Tuesday. There's all kinds of speculation about it on these forums and in #beekeepers on irc.chat-solutions.org. Anyway, the gargantuan scale of this thing makes me want to check it out if only for the bizarre flashmob appeal."
