I get a lot of hate mail. I don't want to encourage this sort of thing, but I feel compelled to share a piece that arrived today. In it, a [redacted] responds angrily to a Boing Boing post from 2002 about news that '80s rock band Twisted Sister planned to regroup. I'm not sure where [redacted] lives, but it must be a remote land where the internet is slow -- because it took about three years for that post to get to him.

That what you posted on boingboing.net about Twisted Sister is a real crap. How dare you? You don't fuckin know these people personaly.......Then why something like that......Oposite on your post, the world should be greatfull that they are reunited and they are not mean and bad at all, cause i happen to know them personaly and i LOVE their music from years ago.............So,please stop that nonsense crap that Rock'n'Roll is bad and mean............WAKE UP,we're not in the 60's any more to forbid that kind of music.........

Update: Longtime BB reader Keith Alexander -- who performed with Twisted Sister's Dee Snider for three years (Link, another Link) says:

Related news in the scoop department: Dee has won the rights back to his Strangeland franchise. #2 is in preproduction now.
Mr. Alexander worked on the first of these horror movies (attention dyslexic hate-mailers: I did not say "horrible movies," I said "horror movies") and is also slated for a role in the second. Link to IMDB listing.
