Clarence Stowers, the man who found a fingertip in his custard to-go container and refused to hand it over to the shop employee who lost it 30 minutes before, had a change of heart. (Background here.) A little late though. From the Associated Press:
Several days after the May 1 incident, Stowers changed his mind and "offered to give the finger back if it can be reattached," said his attorney, Lee Andrews.
But medical experts say reattaching a finger generally must be done within hours.
