On Friday I posted an excerpt about Mike the Headless Chicken from my book, THE WORLD'S WORST: A Guide to the Most Disgusting, Hideous, Inept and Dangerous, People, Places and Things on Earth. Artist Jason Chase emailed me to say: "Mike the headless Chicken is like a cult hero around Colorado. (where im from originally) I always dug the idea that he went on tour as a side show, and wondered what the alley banner would have looked like, hence this painting. Someone even made a full length documentary about the little headless wonder, The trailers for it look great."
