The Open Rights Group, a UK technology rights group that I helped found, is now able to accept your membership donations. ORG is a charity nonprofit that uses your donations to fund activist responses to encroachments on personal liberty in the UK, such as overbroad data-collection and retention, extremist copyright proposals, and comparable campaigns. The UK needs an activist group like this (in years gone past a lot of this fell to the excellent Campaign for Digital Rights, which became dormant a few years back), desperately. With extraordinary, indiscriminate surveillance and draconian copyright fast becoming the norm in Britain, it's time we fought back. I'm proud to serve on ORG's advisory board.
