The company, Arthur Price, said it was the first to design such a set, intended for use by business-class customers, replacing plastic cutlery. The knives, forks and spoons have been created to specifications based on new British Department for Transport guidelines that have their origin in security concerns.Link (via Megnut)
The knives have a rounded rather than a sharp end and measure no longer than 2.36 inches, or 6 centimeters, while the forks have prongs no longer than half that.
I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.
