Staying on "natural" time was portrayed as almost a patriotic and religious duty, but the real reason was undoubtedly that it cut into the drive-ins' business."
It is indeed DST day today — turn back your clocks, change the batteries in your smoke alarms, and don't crash your car from circadian disorientation.
