Update:
Andrew sez, "Amazon have now changed their terms and conditions, and reviews are now licensed to them (with a nasty indemnity kicker if you post stuff which infinges).

Some time back, their terms and conditions required a reviewer to assign the copyright in the review to Amazon.

I don't recall whether those terms contained a licence back to the reviewer – I suspect not.

The first couple of reviews I posted under those old terms got bounced (I assume because I tried to include a term saying that I was only licensing, not assigning the copyright).

I then got around this problem by assigning the copyright to my wife before posting on Amazon. Sure, I no longer had the rights in the work I was posting, but I'd love to see Amazon try to sue a loyal customer for providing them with free content, where Amazon could demonstrate no loss attributable to my actions (assuming my wife doesn't sue them for copyright infringement).

I wonder if any of Kevin's reviews predate Amazon's adoption of the licensing clause, and if so, whether he's actually got the right to publish those reviews? "
