Wireless hacker night in Toronto

Wireless Toronto — a community wireless group that sets up free WiFi throughout the city — is going to start running hack-nights for WiFi hackers to get together and build wireless gear. As Brent the Closet Geek notes, this is a subplot of my last novel, Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town — I appear to be matchless at predicting the present.

In this new year, Wireless Toronto will be doing more than just setting up free wifi in public places; they're starting a series of group tech-project hacknight get-togethers. Beer, wires, routers, cordless drills…you get the idea.
