This personable tree was shot by a Shropshire Star photographer near a high school in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. You can see more of these simulacra in Fortean Times's Fortean Gallery. In Fortean terms, simulacra photos depict "spontaneous or natural figures or images. These can occur in nature as well as in the chance conjunction of artefacts."
