It’s a shame that Karl Rove’s lameness was an entrypoint- though it’s wonderful to hear Fakir’s kind and articulate voice, narrating his personal history in discovering/founding the Modern Primitives movement.

In many years of being a Fakir fan, I’d never had the opportunity to hear him in conversation with anyone, until I had the rare chance to meet him at a party. He’s so warm and so nice, and it’s such an important component of his story, to really “hear” that.
