Thomas Crampton cornered me in China this week with a video camera and asked me how to blog -- here's a video of my answer. In a nutshell: pretend you're a wire-service stringer and you'll end up writing better headlines. Link

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

Which watch are you wearing, Cory?

  • Udantashtari

Very nice and useful information. Looking forward for having more tips on better blogging.
    Thanks

It’s a Vagary Vibe watch — the iwo-322-90, with a green face. Can’t find a linkable version on the web — got it in a Tokyo department store a couple weeks ago on the way to WorldCon.

That was incredibly succinct and useful. Thanks Thomas for “cornering” Cory, and thanks Cory for the quick-and-dirty how to (and not to as well).

hrmm… very nice. Looks like a rotary hours dial, right? Jump hour or whatever you want to call it? Also the video was good too.
