    All I can say is that I am so very glad that Violet Blue and the many other people working to bring the realities and joys of human sexuality into the open (at least in the, umm….bluer states) are doing us all a great service.

    @spincycle, that’s very cool, but please note that this item is about the adult film star Ashley Blue, not the blogger and author Violet Blue, who is in turn sometimes confused with a porn performer who assumed the name Violet Blue in later years. It gets confusing, I know.

    Don’t know if you noticed this but the obscenity indictment was brought by one Paul K. Charlton, the former US Attorney of Arizona. Charlton was purged by the Bush Administration along with 6 or 7 other US Attorneys for what looked to be political reasons. Those who complained about Charlton alleged that he was not bringing enough obscenity cases as he was asked to. Interesting stuff beyond that. I had no idea someone was so edgy to make a porn reenactment of Abu Ghraib torture scenes.
