BB pal Susannah Breslin has published a new short story called The Hardyman, about a guy who restores a robot suit and meets a lady.

The inspiration for this story was the Hardiman, an exoskeletal suit created by GE in 1965.

"While the original Hardiman never worked, the man in my story brings the Hardyman to life. The trouble starts when he meets a woman and the robot suit stands between them," Susannah explains.

"After reading Cory's post about Creative Commons licenses, I decided to publish it online."

I remeber this suit from a children’s book called “Robots”. I always thought this suit was the basis for the power lifters from Aliens.
