greasemonkey script to remove GAMA-GO posts, please.

  • Smoobly

Why does this retailer warrant free advertising on BB? They are mentioned frequently. Their stuff is moderately cool, painfully hip, and very expensive.

Whose pockets are getting lined here? Accountability? Anyone? Anyone?

  • MrPlow

Honestly, why do you care? This is a blog about things the editors find interesting. They like GAMA-GO, so they post about it when there’s something interesting happening with the brand. They’re obviously in some kind of partnership, since GAMA-GO is producing the BB Hoodie, but even if they weren’t I don’t see why this post is a problem. Nobody’s “pockets are getting lined,” and I’m fairly certain the folks who run the joint are only accountable to themselves.

  • Smoobly

Hmm, OK, accountability is too strong a word. Disclosure might be nice.

    Even Slashdot has that.

    smoobly’s said it perfectly.

“moderately cool, painfully hip, and very expensive”.

and therefore of no interest to me, although their stuff still does stand out remarkably against the internet’s ocean of crappy artsy/hip/generic t-shirt stores.

  • defylogik

I second the motion. Stop the advertising every day it seems for this overpriced crap clothing. they sell the same crap over at threadless for 20 dollars.

when is everyone going to realize that not everyone lives in san francisco? Does anyone even wear this wanna be hipster clothing with baby skulls on it? seriously?

  • David Pescovitz

Disclosure: I think GAMA-GO’s stuff is cool, so I post it.

  • Smoobly

    OK, cool. Thanks.

    People:

Quit your damn whining. Discuss content, but stop bitching about its existence.

Don’t like a post? Ignore it.

Feel that BoingBoing has become unreadable, don’t read it.

But the shear amount of whining about posts is sad.
