Non-Disney Disney songs

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). Actually, speaking as someone who has been ripping noisy old Mickey Mouse Club LPs for the last couple of days — I now have four of them on my player — I can say that Jimmie (note spelling) didn’t write all that many of the songs. He certainly did make them his own, though.

There is a band called Edison Square that does nothing but songs about Disney. Nothing about them on this site, though.
