The Pencil Bench was designed by Boex 3D Creative Solutions. The seat contains 1600 pencils that can be yanked out for use. I like how much it resembles a bed of nails. Link

    Hmmm.. the pencils all have erasers and they look close together. It might actually be comfortable (until too many pencils have been removed)

    This is really great looking. But as you used the pencils (if you used the pencils) it would start to get really uneven and uncomfortable.

    This was exhibited as part of Cornwall Design Week here in Falmouth earlier this month. I found it incredibly comfortable to sit on.

    When I see “pencils” and “bench” in the same sentence, all I can think of is the Group W bench.

    “But we had fun filling out the forms and playing with the pencils on the bench there.”
