There are some cultures in which bowling wild boars are an essential part of their religious iconography. Seriously, you guys. You're so ignorants.

I suppose I'm jaded. Bowling boars just don't seem all that unusual to me anymore.

I joyfully went through all of the models.
This one of nessie features a caveboy wielding a boomerang on top of the rather land based looking Scottish monster.

Hey Mark - what makes them unusual, exactly? Or rather, unusual to whom?

You probably just meant "Old Japanese model kits", or "Creative Japanese model kits" because there's not really anything usual about them, except they probably weren't available in the country you grew up (or are growing up) in.

That something comes from Japan, and is different than what you might be used to, doesn't necessarily make it unusual.

Peace

When I see a beautiful and realistic painting of a bowling wild pig model, I'm going to call it unusual. I like unusual things and I will describe them as unusual on Boing Boing.

If you don't like that, please wear a blindfold while reading Boing Boing.

"unusual to whom?"

Is there someone to whom a bowling wild boar model kit is not unusual?
