A reader writes, "First released on August 12th, 1981, the IBM Model 5150 was the world's first PC. It came with a host of business and productivity tools, but only CGA graphics. Fortunately, a modder hacked one of these 4.77MHz wonders (640K RAM + 10MB HDD) to play full motion color video, running at 30fps." Link
I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.
