I might be a luddite, but I have never found this strip to be funny or even interesting. More like annoying. It is published in the independent newspaper in my town and while the rest of their fare is fine, (I adore the cute penguin in 'This Modern World') PBF was one that left me thinking it was trying to be 'too cool for school' or just plain silly, but not in a fun way. "Waste of ink" crossed my mind.
There, I said my piece and I am going back to the mainstream paper to visit my old friends Hagar and Hi and Lois and hope the 'Not Me' monster comes back to visit Billy and Dolly real soon. That gag is HILARIOUS and never gets old.

I got a copy of this for Christmas, and it was my first exposure to the strip. I am now obsessed - this guy is a demented genius.

I wonder how many of the pre-orders are from evangelicals who aren't aware of what they are really buying?

I was dismayed as I watched my Amazon order get delayed multiple times before I finally got my copy. I love this comic.

As a Deadhead, "Keep on Truckin" (http://pbfcomics.com/?cid=PBF189-Keep_on_Truckin.jpg) really made me laugh.

I bought one of these when the book was released, and I got another for Christmas that I'm regifting to my brother.

The comic is hilarious, and there's a few unreleased comics in there as well. It's up on my shelf with my collection of Penny Arcades, Peanuts, and trade paperbacks.

This is next year's Christmas gift for my friends.

#8: Heh-heh, does the book have the strip about the little girl and the bunny watching clouds?

I've sadly had to take his page out of my standard rotation, due to his lack of updates. I agree with #3 - it gets frustrating... and totally selfish.

Did anyone else notice how he went back and updated a lot of his strips before the book was published? While some of the jokes flowed better, I really appreciated the evolution of his humor over the course of his work. Now a lot of the rough edges are gone, and so is that timeline. Oh well.

Oddly, I just gave one of these as a gift today. It is, hands down, the most spectacularly fucked up thing I have ever seen. Survey says - 100.

Easily one of the best webcomics out there (also, easily one of the most frustrating to read. damn his rare updates). I really need to get around to buying the book.

Reading the headline, I thought this was going to be an article about the book feeding the hungry or raising awareness of important issues, but alas the headline author just misspelled "well" as g-o-o-d.

I picked this up and it's fantastic. We did a fun interview with Nick a few years ago, back when PBF first was getting started. It's here if anyone is interested in checking it out. http://weeklygeekshow.com/archives/theweeklygeek_pbf.mp3

This stuff is really funny! The art reminds me of a more polished <a href="http://jsayers.com/thingpart/thingpart.html">Joe Sayers</a>, and the humor reminds me of <a href="http://theuniversityofmyopia.com/comics.php">Truth Serum</a> or <a href="http://redmeat.com">Red Meat</a>.
