This hand-felted Pong pendant is on sale by its maker, Madebymoxie, through Etsy. Just the thing for the pretty retro-gamer in your life. Link (via Wonderland)

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

Ok, so I get we’re going for retro… Pong, and all… But felt? Couldn’t they do a little better?

  • Cefeida

Felt needs to be banned from Etsy. Seriously.

You don’t like the felt? I’m always so amused by computers in felt, knitting, cake, etc. IMHO, they set up an interesting tension between the object and its referent. I don’t know if I’d want a felt necklace though – you couldn’t really wear it against your skin.
