Bradbury and Bradbury wallpapers do a really excellent line of atomic age prints (and the deco and mid-century stuff is pretty sweet too). Link (Thanks, Sam!)

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

Not Atomic Age . . . Dingbat Age!

The thumbnail versions even work well as desktop wallpaper. Set to “tile” and enjoy! The metallics don’t work very well due to the gradient, but the others look swell. My desktop is now set to “Island Turquoise.”

I just saw their ad in Atomic Ranch magazine and thought the same thing as #1. Thanks for posting this because it would have taken me another month to finally forget enough times to remember to do this.

reminds of some of the work from designer (known for his book covers) Alvin Lustig.

I LOVE that Bradbury and Bradbury made two BB posts in one day! If you get anywhere near Benicia CA it’s worth the trip to see their factory- they have 80′ tables where they lay out the paper for multiple silkscreens and still do everything by hand like the old days of William Morris. Back in the day you could raid their dumpster for amazing scraps, but now they sell small remnants on site for a great price, plus they are surrounded by several dozen small artist studios with a view to the bay of the Navy’s mothballed fleet, an breathtaking and macabe sight… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Mothballfleet_suisunbay.jpg
