I think most FHM and similar men's mags will include a few shots like this each month.
I agree it'd be funny if it happened to me, but taking photo's and putting it on BoingBoing?

'(Giggles) It looks like a thingee! (more giggles)'

Oh well, at least my firewall lets that through, unlike any other arty nudity we get on here.

ah, fair play to you, sir.

I'll tell you something. I once lived in a social centre. I'd be sat in the kitchen trying to have breakfast and read the paper, and some random stranger would wander in off the street and start banging on about this or that. It gets old pretty fast.

I guess it must be similar to have a popular blog. Except it's harder to tell when someones being snarky. :p

I promptly christened it the yamgina; she called it the "pussy potato". If it is still around when I get back (in about a week), I'll take a pic of it and share.

Jeez, has noone ever worked on a farm? Probably only 75% of vegetables look like the ones in supermarkets. Theres nothing wrong with them, its just people freak out if it doesn't look like on tv. The rest of vegetables wind up in the dinner pots of hard working, hungry farm hands.

I personally loathe those perfectly round tomatoes and EU-regulation carrots. It's the 'freaky' veggies that I buy at the market down the street.

A real farm has carrots in the shape of Klein Bottles and radishes like Menger Sponges. Theres nothing wrong with them, its just people freak out if it doesn't look like on Scott Free's produce The rest of vegetables wind up in the mechanical stomachs of hard working, hungry Artzbasheff combines.

I spend some weekends working on organic farms, and carrots like these are very common. About half of carrots are not the standard rod, and maybe 15% or 20% look quite anatomical - including feet, torsos, octopi, "junk", and so on. The reason you don't see them more often is because squeamish consumers won't buy them. Some get juiced, some get chopped, but a whole lot get thrown away. Even farmers who want to sell them often can't find a buyer. The whole situation is pretty criminal in my opinion. On the positive side, if you don't mind unique carrots, you can get them practically for free if you know some local farmers. This goes for other veggies too, particularly root vegetables.
