    we had a cow scull on our back porch that a small bird used as a nest. the nest with actually inside where the brain would be, and the little bird would pop in and out of the whole where the spinal chord exited the scull.

    I was thinking of makeing something similar- at present we just have a normal nesting box with ‘abandon hope all ye who enter here’ painted on it. Doesn’t seem to put off the blue tits.
