Imagine spending the rest of your life as a comic book cover.

I love comics, but I hate tattoos. What’s wrong with me?

A Lady Death tattoo is the sort of thing other nerds will beat you up for. That Captain America, on the other hand, is pretty slick.

Should I ever get any body art, I’m going straight to Starman for inspiration.

    re: #6,
Don’t sweat it, man. It’s not for everyone. I’ve spent my entire life drawing on everything i could find, including myself, and art is everything I am.

My tattoos, including the ones i have and the ones i’m planning to have, are things that i’ve considered for a long time, and are deeply influential or otherwise deeply connected to who I am. As an illustrator, it’s my job to tell stories in pictures, and for me, tattoos are a way to express parts of my “story.”

    Different strokes, y’know?

nice! I just added my Hard Boiled (Miller/Darrow, not Woo/Yun-Fat) tattoo to the “Show us your photo” link.

  • Halloween Jack

Not necessarily so oldskool or DC–that looks like Firestar to the left of Wonder Woman’s butt, and Dazzler above her.

This was the best year for tats at Comic-Con ever – there were some awesome works of art.
