Another of Haruki Nakamura’s papercraft designs is that of a white cube. Here is a Youtube video showing the cube breaking up and then reforming as the gears turn around.

It also seems that he has a book coming out here in Japan in December, I don’t know if it will have how to make these in it, as he calls these his “sakuhin”- masterworks.

#12 you probably heard ‘narimashita’ – past tense of ‘naru’, ‘to become’. It’s a very common verb.

(disclaimer, I only know a bit of japanese…)
