i’m so proud of robert. i remember when i taught him how to do that.

  • Tweeker

Damnit, I wanted to hear some Voltron music with that.

  • jonesp12

i imagine that this is exactly like how the wu-tang clan formed.

  • Slizzered

That heavy sigh right at the beginning of the film, when the canvas is still blank? As a pointillist who sometimes spends up to a year on a big canvas, man can I ever relate. Reminds me that I gotta quit foolin’ around on the computer and get back to work…

I thought for sure the “One Year Later” was gonna be the painting falling over the ladder or something!

  • Rossifumi

Can I say fucking awesome? Will they bleep that?

  • hardyandtiny

    a ladder?

  • David Pescovitz

This reminds me of another video in the robot-art-object time lapse category: Michael Salter installing one of his gigantic Styrofoam robots.

Apropos yet ahead of it’s time from GYWO

Voltron should count as a unicorn chaser, isn’t one of his sub-robots a unicorn?

  • Michael Slater

What was the background music score?

  • License Farm

    @JonesP12: Close.

If I had 11′ ceilings in my pad I’d be buying this NOW. Maybe I ought to finally bite the bullet and open the Church of Voltron that I’ve been holding services for inside my skull’s tabernacle for the past 24 years.

MDH – That was the second season of Power Rangers. The blue one, I believe.

  • Teresa Nielsen Hayden / Moderator

Beautiful. I loved seeing the construction of the background patterns before they got overpainted in blue, and the close-up detail shots near the end.

  • Evil Jim

    Looks like a pinball table.
