Imagine my pride when I saw this piece, an abstract of that slice, which now hangs in the Lewis Center for Neuroimaging at the University of Oregon. It raises an enigmatic question about images and privacy. Would I want a photograph of my face on that wall? A distorted abstract painting? A photo or radar reflection rendering of my private parts? What could be more private than my brain? Am I in any way slandered by the detailed additions Marjorie has made, implying things about the mechanism and mechanics of my brain?
