There's construction happening behind my neighborhood playground, so kids have been drawing on the barricade wall with chalk. I like this particular bit of graffiti: "Watch Star Wars the Clone Wars."

As an big time Star Wars Geek, and as someone who is old enough to have see the original films when they were first released… well… stuff like this warms my nerdy little heart to it’s core!

About a year ago I was visiting Dallas for the first time and was near a construction site near a playground and the kids there did the same thing.

Here is the photo I took of it. Darth Vader looks pretty bad ass.

The Clone Wars cgi cartoon is great. It’s my favorite part of the entire Star Wars timeline.

George Lucas better pay up for the time they’re spending marketing for him.

yeah I totally get it, the 3d animated episodes of Clone Wars are quite entertaining. I’m almost ready to go spread the word myself.

    Go Watch Clone Wars!!!

Is that the Donnie Darko bunny on the left?

I get the feeling the vandals at work here get to watch a lot of TV when they’re at home. they’re not telling people to watch Star Wars, the Clone Wars, they’re writing what’s buzzing around in their head. When I read that line it actually comes through my head in the raspy voice from the commercials.

  • nanuq

That is some pretty evil graffiti. Have these kids no taste at all?

My friends six year thinks Clone Wars is Star Wars. Luke, Han, Leia, these are distant, secondary characters to him. I call him Jar-jar Binks, he thinks that is funny, not an insult at all.
