Seriously, though, what better way to expose this cinematic fraud in all its emptiness: “Global Exploitation Time,” “Colonialist Nostalgia Time,” hellz no, it’s PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!

Using the Ying Yang Twins version of Peanut Butter Jelly Time makes this even better. I have watched the part with with “sissy walk” and “where you at” at 1:10 about 20 times now. It’s pure genius.

We’ve been witnessing more and more of these spontaneous bursts of public coordinated dancing lately. I was silently waiting on the Track 1 platform for the Raritan Line train out of New York Penn Station the other day when suddenly this fat stock trader set off another damn wave of dancing. The damn thing delayed my train and I missed the connecting train in Newark. I had to wait another hour for the next train while people around me were humming that damn tune. Friggin Slumdogs.

Hmmm maybe just because this song just sticks in my head like peanut butter stuck to the roof of my mouth – both annoying – but…

how about instead You’re the One That I Want from the original Grease movie soundtrack. Alright so I’m old but I’m just saying, think it would work just as well, and at least I can handle that song running through my head all day rather than Peanut Butter Jelly Time, ugh.

Still pretty darn cool.
