Alex sez, "I'm involved in a free Children's Book Festival in Crystal Palace, London, taking place on Saturday 25th April. There's a whole day of free workshops, including comic masterclasses, monster-drawing and horror writing. The aim was to make it as quirky and interesting for children, and get them involved in making stuff of their own.
As well as the workshops, there's also an exhibition of illustration/comics at a local gallery, and in the local bookshop there will be readings and signings by authors throughout the day.
Through twisting a few people's arms, I've managed to get some great up-and-coming people involved – all giving their time for nothing."
