Julie of Subversive Cross Stitch made this masterpiece. Read more at Craftzine (via Matt Cutts).
I’d like to point out that this pattern appears to be an exact copy of the 8-bit keyboard cat that can be found all over the internet, example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJh7EN8vB48 .
Holy goodness, that’s beautiful. Seeing this made my day and possibly also my week.
0_0 Cross-stitch….*head explodes*
I really want one of these for our Boing Boing Video offices.
do they have them in Lite-Brites?
I’ve been cross stitching for twenty years. That may be mildly cute but a masterpiece it ain’t.
Nice even stitches but the pattern is simplistic and derivative and the colour palette is laughably small. Any decent stitcher could have tossed that together in a day.
Got any real wonders to report?
Now that is very nice. Glad to see it is not a corporate log or slogan. Keep up the good work. Meowwwww.
I can has the template?
i would love to have one of those myself. huzzah for keyboard cat and all related permutations thereof!
Lame, the pattern is gone because the animator complained… I want the pattern.
