The photoshoppers at Worth1000 have found some remarkably fertile territory in today's contest, to remix the Statue of Liberty -- see, for example, Lady Liberty on the Launching Pad, BFF with Jesus of Rio, Yee-HAW!, Window Washer and Evil Monster.

Speaking of the Statue of Liberty you just gotta see this Italian film "Nuovomondo", released under the title "Golden Door" in english-speaking lands.

Sicilian peasants travel to America at the beginning of the 20th Century. Astounding culture-shock as the medieval meets the modern.

Looks like Lady Liberty has been in the fantasies of a lot of geeks. A lot of these had her stripped of her robes.
