What are you doing this summer? Artist Dan Witz is creating a New York City street art series that he calls Dark Doings.

He tells Wooster Collective:

"I don't think I've ever been as excited as I am about this work I'm doing now... I'm calling it, "Dark Doings", inspired by my recent time in Amsterdam's red light district."

Dark Doings.

I'm a writer and blogger.

Does “Doing” rhyme with “Boing”? Dark Doings!

i like it. i hope the pictures are not true scale or are not easily mistaken for real people. you don’t want people calling 911 and wasting time/resources BUT it makes me think about how we just walk past the craziest things in the city because it’s “someone elses problem” or “i’m sure someone else will help/has called 911″

is that what he’s saying here?

I am excited! Or I was, when I first thought it said ‘dark dongs’…

Neat idea. It’s too bad the artist has such a rape fetish, though.
