il_430xN.94064543.jpg This mini-dress sold on Etsy looks just like a pair of 3D glasses. The seller marked it as a Halloween item, but I think it's actually kind of cute for everyday wear... maybe? 3D glasses dress

Dress looks like a pair of 3D glasses?

Dress also looks like she’s having some heavy menstrual flow. This kinda reminds me of that unfortunate ‘labia dress’ from a couple months back.

    • Lisa

Looks like she has Menstrual problems?? Um no it doesn’t. You have no artistic vision and probably no life! This dress is awesome, I would rock this on Halloween!

      • misterfricative

        OK, well, good for you.

But even though I have ‘no artistic vision’ I still think it would have been better if the colors had been the other way round.

  • scifijazznik

@jfrancis– I’d plunk down a five spot to see Xeni in it…

  • FirstTimeCaller

The red and blue should be switched given the nose bridge position… just saying…

    • NLindner

Its supposed to be viewed from the perception that it is being worn, not looking at it from the spectators point of view, which would flip the colors. If you look at the back of the dress then it looks the way you have described, with the eye colors “switched” I hope that makes sense!

  • Manooshi

@NLindner Hey Nicole! Your sewing creations totally rule! But I’m having problems viewing your other dresses under the “Halloween” category. Do you maybe have a direct link?

Also, please let me know when you are opening up for orders again! Congrats on selling out! :)

    • NLindner

Hey! Yes all of my Halloween items are currently sold out, you will have to click the “sales” item on the right to see sold items. I am booked for this Halloween, but If you wanted one regardless that wouldn’t be a problem, or to have one ahead of time for next year that can be worked out to! Thank you so much! Send me a message on Etsy and I can send you a link! –NL

If I was a chick I’d wear it. I wish my gf dressed exactly like this model.

  • anothergirl

Haha I can’t believe some of the snide remarks. The artist was kind enough to give her point of view and insight into the piece that she created. She for one has artistic vision. And to you Mr. Creepola, it doesn’t look like menstrual blood.

  • Manooshi

I would totally wear this dress if it weren’t sold out. Anybody have ideas as to where one can order this fabric? Doesn’t look that difficult to sew…

  • NLindner

Thank you for including my dress! More designs are available on my etsy!

So does this make the dress. So where is the plastic that you can see through.

  • Felton

    That’s adorable.

  • Narual

too bad the back isn’t made up to look like the folded arms of the glasses…

  • jfrancis

too bad the colored eye holes aren’t transparent.

    :D
