loadingplease wait shirt.png ThinkGeek has these fun maternity t-shirts perfect for parents who want their kids to be labeled as geeks even before they are born. I love the Loading... Please Wait design — unfortunately, the progress bar does not actually move. ThinkGeek

The Snowden Principle

unfortunately, the progress bar does not actually move. White fabric paint, oh ye of insufficient imagination.

      I agree entirely.

Make sure you are pregnant before wearing one of these because wearing one will greatly decrease the odds that you will be able to get pregnant in the first place.

Nice progress bar, but a true geeky shirt would rather show: ” fork(); “.

    • querent

Right. cause geek females have never been in demand. the ratio in geek circles is so badly lopsided, female/male >> 1, that they’ll never be. just won’t ever happen.

  • regan@thinkgeek

Thanks for picking these up! We have a third design coming out at the end of the month, so stay tuned. ;)

Please make something for women expecting twins- my wife is due in April!

  • deweyeyed

Dammit, don’t make me procreate just to get a tshirt.

Doesn’t move! That must be fixed! ::Runs off to grab that spool of EL wire.::

Ok. I am officially going to hell. First thing that popped into mind: Make another version, this time an error message. “Abort, Retry, Fail?”

Then we will be toasting our marshmallows together in hell because you just made me choke on my tea. Best comment, ever.

If only they were actually flattering and feminine. Geek does not equal liking largely shapeless and gender neutral clothes. The collar, sleeves, lack of any other stitching screams ‘sack’ and ‘no care went into the design of this t-shirt’.

  • tarabrown

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but I just purchased this shirt and it’s not a real maternity shirt as advertised or shown in the pics on the post. It’s just a large regular shirt. I was disappointed because it’s not going to last me through my pregnancy because it’s too short. You can see in the pic of me here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tarabrown/4008445071/in/set-72157622430235942/ and I am 5 months pregnant.

I emailed ThinkGeek requesting that they either modify the advertised picture or talk to the manufacturer and use a shirt that is actually designed as maternity wear.

Greetings from the ThinkGeek mother ship! We’ve contacted tarabrown (via Twitter) to try and resolve her sizing issue. Our theory: it was printed on the wrong shirt style by mistake, and we can fix that.

If anyone else has had a similar problem, please let us know! We’re @thinkgeek on Twitter & 1-888-geekstuff ye olde fashioned way.
