Steering wheel tray

Meet the AutoExec WM-01 Wheelmate Steering Wheel Desk Tray. This hunk o' plastic with a fancy name must be A) brilliant in its simplicity, or B) hopelessly dumb. But I can't quite decide which. Either way, the grab bag of serious sarcastic/ambiguous product reviews is enjoyable. One customer writes, "This has been a total lifesaver. It allows me to prop my sheet music against the wheel, allowing me to play the guitar with both hands while driving." Deadpan humor? Perhaps... or it might just be this guy.

How will that work when you want to drive straight? They have the steering wheel turned in that image.

We had these back in the 60's in drive in restaurants like Bob's Big Boy. And the sonic style outside tray was actually placed so it was inside the car for the passengers.

Brilliant. Follow the Amazon.com link and view ALL of the customer images with item. Absolutely Brilliant.

The Steering Wheel is upside down in the picture. So unless you are doing donuts in a parking lot, this will not help you play guitar while driving.

Steve Morse (guitarist from Kansas) has claimed that he used to play guitar on his drive to and from work (as a pilot) prior to becoming a successful musician.

"It's such a fine line between stupid and clever..."

Reminds me of cup holders. I've all ways said that if god had wanted you to use cup holders he wouldn't have given you a crotch.

there it is, in thirty thousand little pixels, the beginning of the end.

Remember that scene in Catch 22 with the guy on the Raft? Big Bomber flying low cleaves him in twaine?
Ok now picture a slightly more then fenderbender and the airbag pops.

Upon seeing the photo, I imagined the table would stay level via some sort of radial bearing system on the part that clamps on. Ha..oh danger

You people are missing the target audience. This is a GREAT accessory for people who have been foreclosed on and are living out of their cars!

As RedShirt77 mentioned, it looks like you have to turn the steering wheel upside down to use this, so I doubt it'll actually encourage eating while driving.

As a matter of fact, if I'm any distance from my apartment, I actually prefer to eat fast food while parked somewhere-- it's a lot more comfortable and private then eating inside a fast food restaurant; you can listen to the radio, throw bits of food to the crows, watch the sunset, and so on. I really have no problem whatsoever with this product.

Now all they need to invent is a seat/toilet. Then the road to hell will be paved with more than just good intentions.

It clearly states that it is not intended for use during driving, but you should most def take the advice of anon, above:

Check the Amazon user images... Classic.

Modusoperandi - full congrats, I've been looking for years to re-purpose the road to good intentions in an amusing way, and you've cracked it!

I look forward to seeing this featuring in a Darwin award.

Stir natural peanut butter easily

You know how a jar of natural peanut butter separates into two layers: a rock hard layer of solid peanut particles on the bottom, and a liquid layer of oil that splashes onto the kitchen counter and your clothes when you try to stir the two layers together? John Falk Kelly didn't like it when that... More.
