Wow, it really says...simply nothing at all.

I wonder if one can study saying nothing in many words at the doctorate level?

There should be something written into the constitution of every country that attempts to have some sort of democratic process: any law that was kept out of the public eye for any portion of the period of debate and discussion is automatically null and void.

This makes me think of the Lisbon, treaty, where sweeping new powers are given to supposedly "democratic" governments, without actually consulting the people at all, merely the political class of the member countries.

I notice they're keeping it outside of Europe, the US and Canada where protesters might show up.

I have no problem with negotiations going on in secret since, as Henry Kissinger said, it's impossible to negotiate in a fishbowl, but I'll be goddamned if Obama's going to sign this thing and ram it through the Senate without a full airing.

Oh, but there's already a plan which could be adapted to the situation if this goes through, eh Cory? Something along the lines of Xnet? Paranoid Linux?

Seriously, if this goes through I foresee three things:
1. Riots.
2. 4chan raids and mass uploads of copyright material.
3. An Ad-hoc net.

And I will be one of the rioters and uploaders.

What do we do? -Anonymous
