Ignoring the repressive and generally contemptible nature of the Chinese Government for a moment, does anyone really think the phrase Government run gay bar could ever result in anything other than severe disappointment in any country on Earth?

There is no better way to keep track of a sub-culture any government does not find desirable than by giving them their own gathering place where they can be logged and entered into the system. I wonder if the Chinese government is perplexed that their new gay bar has no custom. No way anyone wants to end up on their collection lists.
