You won't find vibrators like these at a Rite-Aid store, but Rite Aid's online store sells them. What happens if you live in Alabama and order one?

They have these because the online store is powered by drugstore.com, which actually runs an entirely separate adult site – Sexual Well Being.

Also, is it really news that stores on the internet sell sex toys?

I was expecting cute “massagers” that had, ahem, alternate purposes. I wasn’t expecting purple schlongs.

If they catch you, they sentence you to hard time in a hard to reach place.

What, like the back of a Volkswagen?

Interestingly enough this has changed over time. When I was a Navy flight student in the late 70′s I recall mounting an expedition with a couple of our fellow female flight students, proceeding from Milton Florida to Mobile Alabama specifically to purchase exactly this type of now-prohibited device. They were then certainly not available anywhere in the staunchly bible-beltish Florida panhandle. We actually found a sex shop in that den of iniquity that was downtown Mobile (which at the time seemed to consist mostly of vacant and boarded-up storefronts), and their quest was successful.

I also looked up the Fun Factory Delight on Amazon as jere7my recommended and was very amused to see that “customers who bought this item also bought [the] Belkin USB 2.0 4-Port Ultra Mini Hub”. Must have been some Boing Boingers, huh?

I’m a different Anonymous, but thanks, that’s actually quite illuminating! I was trying to figure out if the weird little hook end was ALSO a vibrator and trying to imagine who’s freakish anatomy it was intended for…

Since the online stores I’ve purchased toys from usually supply their wares in non-descript packages, I would have to say absolutely nothing happens. I would fathom a guess that like most states people in Alabama buy sex toys, use them, all in the privacy of their own home. My only guess is the only reason the law is still around is because the legislators are prudish conservatives who can’t fathom one pleasuring oneself. Are there any publish stats on how many, if any, people are arrested for purchasing or owning a sex toy in Alabama?

Can someone demonstrate how http://www.riteaidonlinestore.com/user/promo.asp?promoid=85326&trx=GFI-0-EVGRGD-FI&trxp1=98237&trxp2=85326&trxp3=4&btrx=BUY-GFI-0-EVGRGD-FI works?

One day a female friend of mine found out I had a vibration motor taken from some kids toy. She jokingly asked me to make her a vibrator.

    So I did.

It ran off of wall current, and wasn’t actually intended for real use, but she got a kick out of telling that story for years.

I assume you’re talking about the Fun Factory Delight, Black/White
Hold it by the white end and insert black end first
