When even the storyteller doesn't know what's going on, that anxiety tends to leak into the dialog.

    Was?

At the end of this season they should change the name of the show to “What?” and have everyone repeat the word “Lost?” in every episode.

I can’t believe how many Mike Watt fans there are on LOST.

  • Brainspore

That show certainly stayed around long enough to live up to its name.

Seriously, watching this just makes me want to go back to the beginning and watch LOST all the way through again. In fact, I might just do that. I’ve got 4 weeks until season 6 begins.

  • GiantSnowman

I suppose it’s to be expected from a show where everyone’s lost and there’s all sorts of mysteries being uncovered. The two plot twists per episode probably helped too.

Say “what” again. Say “what” again! I dare you! I double-dare you, motherfucker! Say “what” one more goddamn time!

Having received the first five seasons of Lost on DVD as a holiday gift I’ve resolved to get through every episode by Feb 2, when the final season begins. I’m midway through Season 3 and I am really impressed with how well the storytelling holds up and how much sly editorializing the writers inject into the dialogue at their own expense. I haven’t come across a single serious gaffe yet; if the writers didn’t know where the story was going, they’ve done a great job of improvising without losing continuity. The series definitely bears rewatching.

Does no one say “pardon?” any more? Hell in a handbasket I tell you, hell in a handbasket.

Does it bother anyone else that Rob posts vague descriptions with his links or lack of explanation so you don’t know what his posts are actually about?

Having said that, I really liked the link. Just wish there was some indication on bb as to the nature of the link!

Reminds me of that clip of The Big Lebowski with nothing but the F-words…

The show Lost has me lost all the time. Dont get me wrong its a good show but it has gone on for so long i have begun to get lost in the plot of each episode. :)

I’m trying to decide whether I want to watch the show before the finale, based on the strong recommendations of my friends. I’d be starting from nothing, though (haven’t seen a single episode, discussion, or wikipedia article) and it seems like at this point it would be an act of discipline more than fun.
