technically NOT vinyl - rather, 'self-adhesive repositionable fabric paper'.

which is way better than vinyl. ;-)

I have an uncut sheet of Wacky Packages from 1977 hanging on the back of my office door. It is one of my favorite personal treasures. The artwork and humor were just amazing.

I was about to wax rhapsodic about the irony of enshrining parodies of brands like Chock Full O' Nuts that no longer exist, then I find out that whaddaya know, they still do. Who knew?

I loved Wacky Packs as a kid. I remember collecting glass soda bottles, taking them back to the grocery store for the refund, and running to the local 7-11 to buy W.P. with my hard earned loot. They helped form my macabre sense of humor.

When I was in the first grade, the kid who sat next to me had a Wacky Pack parody of Oscar Mayer balogna re-named Oscar Moron ("made from stupid pigs!") stuck on his desk which gave me endless delight. Seriously, how much do you even remember from first grade? I was always struck by how *real* these stickers looked, which made them much funnier :)

Yup, Chock Full O'Nuts is available at our local Meijers here in Michigan. We've tried it once - it was fine. Actually, I guess I should ask my husband; I rarely drink coffee at home.
