In this kooky video, Finnish interaction designer Mikko Pitkänen imagines a future in which augmented reality helps us find romantic partners through a cone-shaped device called the Love-O-Scope. Perfect for those of us who hate dating... I think.

Really cool video. I hope that it’s not like that but hey, maybe we’re heading that way.

This is truly horrifying, and I say this as someone who’s really excited by augmented reality. It just filled me with dread.

Strangely, it really reminded me the people I see everyday in the subway staring at their feet, not even listening to music or reading the paper. Maybe they’re having rich, fulfilling inner lives, but they just look…switched off.

We must learn to look at things again.

Awesome- I wish all MY romances could be like an emo Spy vs Spy comic… Or maybe not.
