beakerth.jpg The official Muppets Studio channel on YouTube just keeps getting better and better. First "Bohemian Rhapsody," now this: Beaker performing the Kansas prog-rock classic "Dust in the Wind," and being pelted by caustic overlay annotations from anonymous strangers. lol, brilliant way to poke fun at the interweb trolls.

  • Dave Faris

    fail.

  • akbar56

Only problem is too many of the comments are spelled correctly.

  • Lady Katey

Oh my. That made me laugh. And I really needed a laugh today (I’m waiting for the heating guy to come restart my furnace and I have a long night at work ahead of me.)

ROFL Poor Beaker…I am a big fan of the Muppets and I’d like to see more. How about Swedish Chef covering “Point of No Return”? :D

    Bork bork?
    Bork bork?
Bork bork bork bork bork de yorgy-shmorgy?

  • jessemoya

I for real could have laughed through the entire song even without the comments!

  • Keneke

Burnination! Glad to see some Homestar love in there.

  • Halloween Jack

Quite honestly, and respectfully… I’m pretty glad that Beaker’s singing didn’t last for the entire song. He should stick to the guitar.

  • FilmAddict

Love it! And for live performance in the future, this is the dark side of augmented reality.

  • MrsBug

I actually love Dust in the Wind. I love Beaker. Total WIN in my book.

  • Anonymous

    That was pretty good.

  • highlyverbal

    Wonderful!

  • LeFunk

    Muppetpunk! XD

  • highlyverbal

Oh, I don’t think the comments are from are anonymous strangers, I thought the comments might be from the crotchety old guy muppets?

Comments are in 2 colors only, one for each of them. Maybe I’m crazy.

    • Cefeida

I think BB was trying not to spoil the ending there. As a Muppet fan I should have seen it coming, but I didn’t and it made the LOL twice as big.

I love it when an institution (are Muppets any less than one?) with such long-standing traditions knows how to adapt to the new media and stay with the times, and still be hilarious. Love love love it.

Muppets and Lego, kids don’t need anything else.

  • lectroid

    less singing
    more burning

ok. That actually made me laugh.
