Jacques Pense designed this award-winning stationery for 13th Street, the German horror network. It has given me a scorching case of stationery envy. If I got a letter on this stuff, I'd frame it and save it for my entire life.

13th Street "Stationery of Horror" (Design) on the Behance Network (Thanks, Fipi Lele!)

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

Maybe not the thing for a thank-you note to your Aunt Mildred.

13th Street isn’t a ‘horror’ network, but rather a crime-drama network: Law & Order, Criminal Intent, CSI, Dexter, that kind of thing.

That is sweeeeeeeeet. Can you actually get CD’s pressed with a saw-tooth edge, or is that clever packaging?

  • eccentriffic

Completely made my day. I wish I could get a job doing stuff like this!

    Very cool.

    Ever seen Letterheady.com?

      thanks for that link! neato.

This is one of the few things in the bloody, zombie genre that I’ve ever seen that I can honestly say I admire. Very cool.
