Maybe have a "dollars [or I guess euros in this case] per km spent"-meter to see who had the most expensive, and the longest rides. There'll be probably a lot of stranded people meeting and falling in love too, so that's kinda sweet. On the topic of getting boats, they're not cheap, and they're slow. Incredible to realize that planes are actually fast and cost-effective.
