Dog injures nose.

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

Cory, have you thought about asking Sir Terry to be a guest commentator on BB? I’m sure he would have some deep insight on stories like this.

Do local news outlets in the UK have a section called Police Blotter like we do in the US? In my home town, for example, they seem to publish the content of every single call to the police department. Cats screwing loudly. Teenagers loitering. She looked at me funny.

At least the Salisbury Journal has a nose for news. They’ve got ace reporters that can sniff out a good story and run with it.
