Coop says: "Man, they nailed (get it?) the look of the 60's TV show. I much prefer this to the current movie incarnation."

Trailer is safe for work.

It looks like they are using the same famous Hollywood cave they used in the series.

The Lebowski one is pretty good too:

Check out the Joker at 0:32 – he’s got a mustache that’s painted white.

That is an -awesome- subtle little touch. On the original series, Cesar Romero refused to shave his trademark mustache to play the Joker, so it was just painted over white.

They did a good enough job, and nobody was expecting the joker to have a mustache, so weren’t looking for it, that most people had no clue.

The fact that they left it in here is really cool.

    • zapgunner

Exactly! I thought that proved that the director really wanted to make an homage rather than some rediculous rip off.

And that guy who’s playing the Commissioner. Is that the same actor?!?!

  • Anonymous

there was already a cool Batman porn called the Adventures of Buttgirl and Wonderwench that was done back in the 80s. Ron Jeremy was in it.

  • Nadreck

This sort of thing has been going on since the original show was filming. The folklore of L.A. fandom has a venerable tale about orgies on the original set. There was this kid who hung around the studios in order to steal memorabilia; this would be the same kid who stole Forry Ackerman’s Dracula ring. One day he went over the fence in the middle of the night to steal stuff from the Batman production offices. The security guards caught him but charges were never pressed because most of the stuff that he stole was production stills and most of these seemed to be of at least “R” rated activities on the set and they didn’t want to have to produce them as evidence.

I totally believe this because most of the villain’s molls and other bit-part female players seem to have been porn stars of the day: Eve Myers being the most prominent. Also, both Adam West’s and Burt Ward’s autobiographies tell of them having way too much fun with the groupies – although no locations or names are mentioned.

The rights to the original show are such a mess that I doubt the parties involved can get their act together enough to sue anyone about stuff like this. One of the reasons why no official DVD has come out is that the guy who build the BatMobile retained all the rights to it.

  • Brainspore

All the punsmiths in the San Fernando Valley and the best title they could come up with was “Batman XXX?”

    • Nadreck

      Well, “SplatMan” was already taken.

    • devophill

I’ve noticed they’re doing that recently. No puns, just [name of show] XXX, or [name of show] The Porn Parody. It might be lack of imagination, but i think maybe they found out they couldn’t be sued somehow.

The reason the TV show has not been collected is that too many people want a piece of it, or might be owed a piece of it, from separate coorporations, producers estates to actors giving cameos without release or residual agreement. Oddly this has had no effect on the contiuned syndication of the show, although I never see it available in any market, I’m sure they would consider syndication monies totally lost if the show was made available to DVD. They would be selling the cash cow.

  • desiredusername

I swear, James Deen is in every porn.

  • kathybear@comcast.net

So where is this available on DVD? It would be an interesting (to say the least) addition to my DH’s “real” Batman collection

  • Maneki Nico

Tori Black … ha … the only true Catwoman is Julie Newmar, Lee Merriwether or Eartha Kitt.

    • Anonymous

“Tori Black … ha … the only true Catwoman is Julie Newmar, Lee Merriwether or Eartha Kitt.”

You get that going you got a winner, absent that Tori cant be that bad. And how can you argue that the only is three different people? Really? Are they the same person?

On the bat mobile, would it be a violation if you owned the actual bat-mobile to use it in a film? I don’t think so.

  • Anonymous

Let me guess, Ron Jeremy is the Penguin?

  • bfarn

But how in the holy hell did they get the rights? Fair use, 1st amendment, parody, etc etc sure – but they’re using the dang BATMOBILE.

Maybe this is DC’s answer to the whole Disney/Marvel thing…

Am I the only one upset that the original series is not on DVD but the porno version is?

  • Anonymous

I had to go Google this, and found, among other things, that there appearently IS a segment in this movie that pays homage to the animated WB series from the 1990´s (Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn et all).
Ron Jeremy, in facial phrostetics, plays the “darker” version of the Joker in those shots.

Or, in other words, this appears to be such a fan-geeky movie that some people are probably gonna watch it all the way to the end, without tissue.

The scene with robin was actually pretty hot. The chick kept yelling out “Oh robin”
\Love it when they get into the roll like that.

  • explodethenmelt

OK, so i just created an account so that i could post this: James Deen is my friend’s ex-boyfriend. When she came over, i showed her this trailer, and she FLIPPED OUT because she hasn’t seen him in a long time, knew he was in porn, but didn’t know it was going THIS well… then i showed her the lebowski trailer that clemoh linked, and HE’S IN THAT TOO!

and then i tried to post this anonymously and it hasn’t shown up yet so i made an account. in the mean time, desiredusername has pointed out that this man is in every porn. and we didn’t know he was doing THAT well for himself either!

  • Halloween Jack

I’m guessing that Ron Jeremy would be playing Harvey Bullock, since he fits the character’s classic look.

  • sing it, baby

It’s about time; I haven’t seen a superhero movie since ‘Iron Man 2,’ ‘The Avengers,’ ‘Terminator Salvation,’ and ‘KICK-ASS’.

  • explodethenmelt

hilarious interview with james deen on this page http://www.jdmfilmreviews.com/the-big-lebowski-porn-parody/ … he is so much more hip than his interviewer.

Looks like someone saw Nic Cage in “Ass Kick” it’s like Shatner is a style of it’s own eratrarywise. Well, that’s it for me and Rattata, maybe I’ll catch that pidgey later! CLICK …… …..

    • Anonymous

      It’s kick-ass, man.

  • akbar56

Very interested in seeing the “kapow” and “thud” sound-text images being used mid-coitus. I also saw Ron Jeremy in the credits. Think he is gonna get a walk on cameo like stars of the day did on the original show?

    • kingzilch

If they’re smart, they’ll have him stick his head out of a window while “Batman” and “Robin” are climbing up the side of a building.

  • messmor

Does Batman and Robin make out in this version???

    • TimDrew

“Quick, Robin- into the Bat Cave!”

  • Antinous / Moderator

Is it bad that I recognized Randy Spears?

  • FreakCitySF

wanna see change? check out Dale Dabone 1999 and today.

  • Ocker3

The animation segment looks like it was done by (or as an homage to) The Ambigiously Gay Duo! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEAYcR8w_tE)

  • igpajo

Wow, the production value even looks better than the original. That’s even the original car isn’t it!?

  • InsertFingerHere

Costumes were good, but as an homage, lighting and production style is way off the mark. Pretty bad trailer, don’t see why this got featured. Would have rather watched a cat playing piano, as un-fresh as that is.

    • Mark Frauenfelder

Wait, why are some of you still commenting on this? Insert Finger Here generously took time out of his/her busy day to tell you that this isn’t interesting.

      • Cowicide

Well… on top of what InsertFingerHere said, I just want everyone here to know that I’m not surprised by anything (especially this batman porn).

Is anyone else really surprised? Are you surprised. I’m not surprised.

    • Jake Bullet

Am I the only one slightly disappointed that a user called “InsertFingerHere” is less-than-enthused about this movie?

      • zapgunner

I was very sad to read that. I base all of my porn decisions on his opinion.

  • TimDrew

I suspect Batman and Robin would be in quite a few -um- action scenes together in this one…

random observation: At :32, looks like the Joker is holding a Star Trek phaser (from the original series)…

  • Wendy Blackheart

Oh, Vivid. I would find this more interesting if I knew they were going to have a scene with Batman and Robin fucking on the Batmobile, but alas, they don’t show that in hetero-porn.

  • MrWednesday

Looks like err, fun. Been done before http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0132086/
